For the past 18 years I have been dedicated to providing the highest quality services to my customers. Through constant education, technique development, and use of top-quality products, I am able to deliver the best value in painting, faux finishing, and wallcovering installations.

My range of skills has sequentially developed to include plaster and drywall repair, masonry repair, caulking, interior and exterior surface preparation and finishing, staining and varnishing, wallpaper removal and installation, wood graining, faux finishing, estimating and sales.

Upon graduation in 1988 from the University of Delaware I became interested in pursuing a career in the coatings application industry. I teamed up with a friend and painting contractor from Millersville who taught me much of what I know about the trade. After working locally for a total of 6 years and in the Lehigh Valley for 6 years, I decided to start my own company. I have successfully served both the residential and commercial markets in Lancaster and Dauphin counties. However, a major segment of my work lies within the Mount Joy and Elizabethtown areas.

Several years ago I became interested in trade organizations such as the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, PDCA and the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers, NGPP. I am currently the president of the Susquehanna Valley Chapter of PDCA. I have also recently joined the Elizabethtown and Mount Joy Chambers of Commerce. I am also a member of Donegal Presbyterian Church in Mount Joy, which my family and I are actively involved.

In 1999 and 2000, I participated in a cultural and professional exchange with the German Painters Guild, learning about European techniques and styles through the auspices of PDCA and my former employer.

I have now been working in the industry for over 15 years and continue to enjoy learning new techniques, meeting new people, and being a leader in my profession. I look forward to meeting the challenges of the new millennium and the opportunities that exist therein.
